Step back in time and outside the museum walls to discover the incredible world of antiquity at the Barbara Ponce Public Library. This exciting, interactive workshop brings history to life as you create your own replica of ancient pottery. 

In this special hands-on event, participants will dive into the rich stories, secrets, and artistry preserved within the Museum of Fine Arts’ world-class collections. But you won’t just be listening—you’ll be doing!

After discovering how ancient civilizations crafted their functional masterpieces, you will step into the shoes of an ancient artisan. Using classic techniques as your guide, you will sculpt, shape, and decorate your very own replica of ancient pottery to take home.
