Art Unbound
Reimagining the MFA Collection

The MFA is reimagining the way you experience art. We're shifting to a thematic model that encourages visual conversations and reveals universal human themes in a shared history.

During this reimagination, The MFA Collection will be temporarily closed. The collection galleries will close September 22 and re-open on November 21.

While the collection galleries are closed, you can still experience the exhibition, New African Masquerades, purchase something from the MFA Shop, or grab a bite at Café Clementine. We'll continue to offer a range of activities, from music performances to workshops to book club.
