Celebrate the Sunshine State with fellow homeschool families from across Tampa Bay.  Together, we’ll explore Florida’s vibrant history, discover local artists, and learn how people have captured our state’s beauty through art across generations.

Homeschool groups and families are invited to gather at the MFA every second Wednesday of the month for hands-on art making, interactive learning, and fun community connection right inside the MFA Studio Classroom. Families must remain in the museum, or in the MFA Studio Classroom, during the program. We invite you to explore the galleries or enjoy a treat at Cafe Clementine while students participate.

Instruction and hands-on activities are designed for students ages 5–14, led by museum educators. In addition, Gallery Activity Guides are available at Visitor Services.

Adult chaperones can attend the classroom programs for free or wait elsewhere in the building.
